I am privileged to have lived in a few places in the United States - Monterey, California, Danbury, Connecticut, Plano, Texas, Lexington, Kentucky, and Florida. An even greater privilege has been to travel â to England, Italy, China, Taiwan, Scotland, West Africa, South Africa, The Cayman Islands, Barbados, Mexico (Puerta Vallarta, Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Jalisco) and other places, but the greatest privilege above all, is meeting wonderful people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
I transitioned to a full-time real estate practitioner, with training in Luxury Real Estate and in Resorts and Second Home Properties. The industry is a perfect fit for me â it pulls on my strengths and capabilities as a professional, great communicator, and results oriented personality. I love working with people and satisfying their real estate needs.
I am a lifelong learner (BA in Radio-TV-Film Communications, a Masterâs in Library Science, and an MBA). I have worked in the insurance industry, been an entrepreneur âexporting â U.S. products, and an information professional.
I love my family (married for 40 years) and friends. My hobbies include reading, and writing. I wrote Men Who Love Roses. I enjoy playing the cello and play in the community orchestra, playing tennis/attending US Opens, watching golf /attending tournaments â Barbasol Golf Championship, Bay Hill Golf Tournament, etc. The Oaks and Kentucky Derby are one of my favorite horse events â attended 13 times.
I am a long -time supporter of Childrenâs Miracle Network Hospitals. Jack and Barbara Nicholas â Play Yellow and our picture is great. Also, Radio Eye â an organization that reads for the blind and reading impaired is dear to my heart- Amy Hatter is so committed. I served on their board, and previously served on the board of the Lexington Philharmonic.
